Karl McCartney MP has, once again, invited Lincoln’s Junior Schools to take part in his annual Christmas Card Competition to design the Christmas cards that he shall be sending to hundreds of individuals, businesses, charities and other organisations that Karl has met and corresponded with in his capacity as the Member of Parliament for the City of Lincoln Constituency.
The competition is open to all children of primary school age who attend school within the Lincoln Constituency. All submissions must be sent to Karl McCartney MP at his Office at the House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA by the week commencing Monday, 16 November. Thereafter Karl, along with his fellow judges from The Lincolnshire Echo and Ruddocks of Lincoln, will choose the winning design, and print the Christmas cards in time for Christmas.
Karl McCartney MP said: “This year’s Christmas Card Competition will be great fun for all the children involved just as it has been in previous years.
“I and my fellow judges from both the Echo and Ruddocks greatly enjoy judging the entries in the Competition.
“We also intend to include EVERY entry we receive online, and put the best couple of entries in a forthcoming issue of The Lincolnshire Echo, just prior to Christmas.
“The closing date for entries is Monday, 16 November and I am look forward to receiving the various Christmas card designs from our Infant and Junior Schools.”
