Lincoln’s Conservative MP, Karl McCartney, who always Puts Lincoln First!, has praised the range of Government laws put forward in the King’s Speech today.
He said: “The new laws put forward by the Conservative Government in the King’s Speech meet the priorities of the people and businesses of Lincoln. This is in addition to growing the economy, tackling illegal immigration and focusing on reducing waiting lists.
“I was particularly pleased about the plans for tougher sentences and ensuring we are not so reliant on foreign countries for our energy supply. The announcement on better support for renters and leaseholders was very welcome too.
“It also showed once again that Labour has nothing to offer to move the Country nor Lincoln forward. You only have to see how they mismanage the City Council to know what would happen if they actually ran the Country.”
