More support for first-time buyers will be a "priority" for any future Conservative Government according to Lincoln's Member of Parliament.
Karl McCartney's vow comes after the Government announced in last week's Budget a new 'Help to Buy' ISA which will reward savers with extra treasury funds.
For every £200 saved for a new home will be topped by the Government by £50 with a maximum £3000 given when the saver has accumulated £12,000.
Since launching three years ago the 'Help to Buy' scheme has assisted 90,000 families buy homes by offering financial support on mortgage deposits.
In Lincoln 114 new homeowners have used the scheme to secure a new home.
Karl McCartney MP said: "Further help for Britain's first time buyers is a priority for David Cameron and any future Conservative Government.
"We have had some fantastic success with Help to Buy, but more support is on the way with our new ISA as well as plans to build 20,000 new discounted 'Starter Homes' for first-time buyers.
"The Conservatives are committed to building a Britain where everyone who works hard can have a home of their own."
