Lincoln’s Member of Parliament Karl McCartney and his team in Lincoln and Westminster are staging their 2015 Lincoln Jobs Fair at the County Assembly Rooms on Bailgate, on Friday 6th February from 10am onwards.
The 2015 Lincoln Jobs Fair is open for individuals of all ages. Whether you are a school or college leaver, an undergraduate, a potential apprentice or somebody already in work who is looking to improve your skills and employment prospects, change job or enhance your working career - the 2015 Jobs Fair is a must attend event for your Calendar.
Last year over 1,500 people attended the 6 hour event where over 2,000 jobs across the East Midlands were advertised by companies and organisations. On Friday 6th February 2015, real jobs that anyone may apply for will be advertised while sessions on the key skills required to find a perfect employment opportunity will be available, particularly focussing on how best to present yourself and how to make your CV stand out from others in a sift.
This year’s Jobs Fair has over 40 participating organisations and is being supported by Lincoln JobCentre Plus plus a number of key sponsors such as Kisimul Group, Stagecoach, The Showroom, Lagat, Branston, Interserve Healthcare, the YMCA and the Lincolnite. Anyone wishing to attend the Jobs Fair from both the north and south of the City can make use of a free shuttle bus which is being provided by Stagecoach East Midlands. Flyers & Posters for the event will be distributed at key locations around the City including Lincoln College, Bishop Grosseteste and the University of Lincoln and many of of the city’s most popular restaurants, bars, cafes and takeaways.
