Are you looking to improve or upgrade your sports club, facilities and/or equipment?
Do you want to find out more about what funding is available and how to access it?
If so, you may well want to come along to the sports funding workshop that Lincoln’s Member of Parliament, Karl McCartney MP, and Sport England, the government agency which promotes the development of all grassroots sport, are hosting.
The event will take place this Friday 19 September between 11am and 3pm at Lindum Sports Association in Lincoln and is open to everyone.
On hand will be local Sport England experts who will provide advice and answer any questions the representatives of Lincoln’s sports clubs may have. The workshop will explain the funding available and which fund would be most appropriate for your project and how to apply.
Karl McCartney MP said: “Sport England’s expertise, and the investment they have available, has already helped thousands of clubs up and down our country.
“In my experience, clubs often need that little bit of help and support when they are applying for funding, whether it is being directed to the right funding stream for them or making sure they take the correct steps and present the best case they can when applying.
“I am hopeful that Friday’s sports clinic will help us in Lincoln to improve our own facilities and ensure that more people play more sport more often.”
